In its role as a local economic facilitator, ADIRA initiates or collaborates with numerous business clubs and groups across Alsace. To learn more, feel free to reach out to your ADIRA territorial representative!

Business clubs

Business leaders have the opportunity to join a business club to connect with peers, share best practices or challenges, and explore local collaborations. Managed by ADIRA and often in partnership with other organizations, these clubs organize regular meetings in various areas.

Contact your development manager to join existing networks and participate in ADIRA events.

These events provide a valuable chance to meet many business leaders and elected officials in Alsace.

Cross-border cooperation

If you’re seeking economic contacts in Landau, Germersheim, Karlsruhe, Rastatt, Baden-Baden, Kehl, Offenburg, Lahr, Freiburg, Lörrach, or Basel, ADIRA can assist and activate its cross-border networks.

In northern Alsace, the PAMINA Business Club facilitates cross-border economic cooperation. Active for 20 years, this club includes around fifty members from Northern Alsace, the Palatinate – Südpfalz, and Mittlerer Oberrhein – TechnologieRegion Karlsruhe. Regular meetings and events are organized to foster local exchanges among business leaders from these regions.

In the Haut-Rhin region, ADIRA maintains relationships with economic networks in Freiburg and Basel and has contacts in Lahr and Lörrach.

Collaborative initiatives

ADIRA collaborates with several industrial players in Northern Alsace on the RESILIAN project. This initiative brings together major industrial groups like ALSTOM, SCHAEFFLER, SIEMENS, TRUMPF, SEW USOCOME, as well as SMEs such as NORCAN, CADDIE, ACEA, and SEWOSY. The goal is to boost local competitiveness and diversification through collaborative efforts and collective intelligence.

RESILIAN focuses on:

Just like the RESILIAN initiative in Northern Alsace, ADIRA, in collaboration with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Communities of Communes of Val de Villé, Sélestat, Val d’Argent, and Ried de Marckolsheim, is working to mobilize industrial companies in Central Alsace.

The aim is to advance business and regional development by tackling shared challenges faced by industries in the area.

Various meetings with business leaders have been held to promote this initiative. Small and medium-sized industrial enterprises interested in joining this effort to mobilize local resources are encouraged to contact ADIRA directly.

ADIRA, in partnership with the Collectivité Européenne d’Alsace and other stakeholders, is actively involved in organizing hackathons as part of open innovation initiatives. During these events, local businesses present their projects, and over a two-day “sprint,” teams with various skills and backgrounds come together to develop innovative solutions. For instance, in 2024, we held the “Hack ta zone!” hackathon, which focused on envisioning the future of business parks.
